Maren, the CEO of LS Oxford, established this educational platform back in 2022. Hailing from Germany, she pursued law in Berlin before making her way to Oxford. Alongside her tenure at Oxford University, she initiated a German Saturday School. It was during this time that she recognized the pivotal role of fun-focused speaking and reading in children's learning success. Maren's initiative at LS Oxford is a testament to her dedication to revolutionizing education by emphasizing engaging methods that instill a love for language learning in children. Her journey from Germany to Oxford and her understanding of the transformative power of language education fuel her passion to ensure that every child has access to quality education, irrespective of their geographical location or circumstances.

With a wealth of experience, Alice has dedicated her career to fostering language proficiency and cultural understanding in diverse learning environments.

Beyond the realms of academia, Alice is driven by a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of education, particularly in providing a gateway to success for students facing unique challenges.

Ciarán's knowledge and experience stems from many years of work in social media communications, fundraising, campaigning and political law. These fields have connected him internationally with people from all walks of life. More importantly those in need of financial and educational aid.
He proudly represents the Harry Dunn Scholarship (among others)- A namesake for his late brother - whose legacy has seen great movements in providing educational services in areas of severe deprivation.

Meg is the deputy director at LS Oxford. From personal experience as President of a university society, Meg values the importance of education in the lives of young people as she believes that it is the key to achieving goals and fulfilling dreams. Meg is passionate about teaching and working with young people and through her work at LS Oxford, Meg wishes to ensure that high quality English education is both accessible to and affordable for all.

Brad is responsible for leading specific partnership priorities and projects, such as the continued development of the educational programs and curriculum of the Language Society Oxford, he manages, develops and implements the goals and objectives.

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Shilohni is the communications manager at LS Oxford. Having grown up in Sri Lanka, Shilohni has witnessed how the ability to speak English can unlock doors to numerous opportunities. Therefore, she is committed to increasing children’s access to English classes. Shilohni is currently reading for a Master of Public Policy at the University of Oxford.

Deputy Director International Relations

‘Connecting Cultures, Empowering Learners: Where Language Opens Doors.’

As the Deputy Director of International Relations at LS Oxford, Tamta Berianidze has extensive experience in English language teaching and a passion for fostering cross-cultural connections. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English Philology, and certified as a teacher and trainer with Cambridge CELTA qualification, she creates fun and engaging learning experiences. Her role involves fostering collaboration among diverse communities. Tamta believes that language opens doors to new opportunities and friendships.
