  • Recognizing the Talents of the Youngest Gifted Children

Our Saturday sessions are designed for children who show extraordinary abilities at an early age, offering an English language curriculum that is both challenging and deeply engaging. Through carefully crafted lessons, children explore advanced language skills, interact with a highly skilled teaching team, and engage in meaningful discussions with international peers. This is an ideal setting for children with impressive comprehension, unique creative perspectives, and highly developed language skills to thrive.

We understand that some gifted children show remarkable abilities even before the age of 7, which is why we offer special options for those who might be ready a little sooner. Children younger than 7 are often grouped into age-appropriate classes like our Ladybirds, Bumblebees, Squirrels, and Koalas groups, where they engage with other highly gifted peers as well as proficient English-speaking children. This mixed approach ensures a balance of social interaction and academic challenge in a setting designed to inspire and nurture.

  • Highly Gifted Children’s Program | Ages 7-17

At Society Oxford, we believe that highly gifted children deserve opportunities as unique as they are. Some display remarkable comprehension and insight, while others stand out through advanced language abilities, boundless creativity, artistic talent, or heightened emotional awareness. Our mission is to unlock the full potential of these extraordinary young minds by providing a nurturing, challenging, and globally connected environment where they can learn, grow, and build friendships with like-minded peers from around the world.

    Unlocking Potential, Inspiring Connection
Our programmes cater to gifted children aged 7-17, offering intellectually stimulating courses tailored to their developmental stage, cognitive strengths, and unique areas of interest. With a focus on small-group instruction and carefully crafted content, each child feels recognised and valued. Through engaging, live Zoom sessions, students from diverse backgrounds come together to form a vibrant international classroom that celebrates their curiosity and unique perspectives.

  • Meet Music Teacher John: A Programme Highlight

As a special feature, our highly gifted program includes Music Teacher John, whose lively sessions add a creative dimension to the curriculum. With John, students dive into fascinating music theory, learn the fundamentals of composition, and even create their own songs. This is an extraordinary opportunity for children to develop their musical and linguistic talents simultaneously, sparking conversations that often extend beyond the classroom.

“Hi Maren,

Can I reserve a spot for Victoria in Term 1/2025? And how? Should I pay now? Is there a discount, etc.? Luke is such an amazing teacher, introducing them to topics like sexism, AI, wars, and much more. In Unicorn Class, these gifted kids are truly seen and heard for who they are, and no one feels “strange,” “too much,” “too quick,” or anything like that. For a highly gifted child in Denmark, that means the world. Here, many highly gifted kids end up homeschooled because our school system doesn’t meet their needs.

At school, they’re often told they talk too much, have too many ideas, or are simply “too much.”

In Luke’s class, they’re made to feel like they belong.

Luke connects with them on their level. He understands their humour, compliments their uniqueness, and brings a real sense of belonging to every class. Victoria has never had a teacher like him, and I can see how it’s helping her flourish. The kids even organise their own games and discussions if they don’t have a break scheduled with him. They’re learning about topics that matter deeply to them, and in a way that respects their intelligence and curiosity.

The cultural mix in Oxford’s program is also special. Victoria tells me there are kids aged 10-17 from countries like Portugal, Sweden, Germany, and Denmark. Through subjects that Luke teaches, they not only learn but also see cultural differences, creating a unique environment that enriches their understanding beyond language.

Just knowing that for two hours a week, my 11-year-old can be completely herself—learning, connecting, laughing, and being appreciated—is everything. I hope you can see how valuable this class is for these kids.

Thank you for creating a place where my daughter can thrive like this.

Best wishes,

Tine H.

P.S. “The Unicorns also love John, the music teacher—they think he’s VERY cool!”

P.P.S. “If you’re wondering how I get all this information, it’s not from hovering—Victoria & her friends made a Snap group where they talk (loudly!). The bonding happening in this group is just amazing, though they still look to Luke to keep them connected.””
